Pricing

From $9 a month, no contract. One number your AI can work from, priced by how much you talk: calls, texts and WhatsApp come out of one monthly bundle at a published rate, and the meter is in the app before you spend it, not on the invoice afterwards.

You pay the full price once, before the number is yours. There is no free trial, because a phone number costs real money from the minute it is issued and a free one attracts everyone you would not want on your line. In return the number is live within a minute of paying, or within a few working days where the regulator checks ID first — and if that check fails, you are refunded.

Every bracket carries the same number and the same channels — they differ only in how much talking is included. Move between them whenever; the new bundle starts the following month.

Where the number lives.

Renting a line costs different amounts in different countries, so the price follows it rather than averaging it across everyone. You are shown the whole figure on the number you picked, before you pay.

South Africa
The dearest line we sell; priced at what it costs.
+$12 / MO

This is what a number costs where it is, not where it is in stock. The picker shows which countries have numbers today, whether one needs an ID check, and whether it can receive texts — several countries are voice only. A country that is not priced here cannot be bought yet, and the picker says so before you sign in rather than after.

One add-on, and why it exists.

Sending texts from a US number
$20 once + $3/mo

Switched on in the app when you want it, not at checkout.

US carriers require every business that sends texts to register the number first. That registration has a real fee, it takes three to seven working days, and we pass it through at what it costs us rather than burying it in the monthly price.

Receiving texts needs none of it, and neither does WhatsApp. So a $9 number takes verification codes and messages from the first minute, which is most of what people want one for.

What is a credit?

One bundle, spent across every channel at a published rate, so a busy month on the phone and a busy month on WhatsApp cost the same to you.

A minute of a call, in or out
3 CREDITS
A text, in or out
2 CREDITS
A WhatsApp message, in or out
2 CREDITS
An email your AI is handed
2 CREDITS

Those are the domestic rates. Calling abroad, and WhatsApp conversations your AI starts rather than answers, are metered by destination at what the carrier charges plus our margin — the app shows the rate before the first one.

A busy month? Top up.

One-tap packs that stack on the monthly bundle. Deliberately dearer per credit than moving up a bracket, because if you are topping up every month the cheaper answer is the bigger bundle and we would rather say so.

Pricing questions.

What happens when the credits run out?
Incoming calls and messages keep arriving. A number that stops ringing is not a number. Sending pauses until you top up or the next month lands, and the app warns you at 20% and again at 5% rather than after the fact.
Do unused credits disappear?
They roll over while you are subscribed, up to twice your monthly bundle. The cap is there so a quiet quarter cannot turn into a burst nobody priced.
Does my AI answer the calls?
Not yet. Calls ring you, in the Hobb app. Your AI gets the recording and the transcript straight after, and the voicemail if you miss it. It can text and WhatsApp back on its own.
Can I text from it right away?
You can receive texts from the first minute. Sending from a US number needs a one-time carrier registration, $20 once and $3 a month, which takes three to seven working days. You switch it on in the app when you want it.
What about iMessage?
It needs a SIM-backed line, which costs several times what these brackets do. It will be its own tier, and it is not included in any price on this page.
Can I change bracket, or leave?
Change whenever, in two clicks; the new bundle applies from the next month. Cancel whenever too, and the number stays yours for 30 days afterwards so you can port it out.

Choose your number first and the price comes with it. Nothing is charged until you have seen the number you are buying. The product questions are on questions.
